Villa Naya Samui

Villa Naya Samui is a hidden green pocket in Bophut, where tall palms, ferns and flowering shrubs wrap around a long turquoise pool and almost every window looks into the garden. A small waterfall spills into a pond beside the lawn, and the sound of running water follows you from the terrace to the bedrooms. It feels secluded and restful, yet Bophut beach, Fisherman’s Village and the island’s best-loved restaurants are only a few minutes away.

Life here happens beside the pool. A covered terrace holds a round wicker dining table, cushioned sofas and hanging rattan egg chairs that swing over the water, and a second open-sided pavilion has a long timber table and a deep corner lounge for lazy lunches and late suppers. Glass doors slide back from the main living room, with its wide grey sofas, blue armchairs and big TV, so indoors and outdoors run together. Next door, a sleek modern kitchen with an island, stools, a dishwasher and a full set of appliances makes holiday cooking easy.

Three king bedrooms each have their own bathroom and air conditioning, and each has a character of its own: one in teal and charcoal with a view through glass to the pool, one with a carved timber headboard, and one in soft blush tones. A second living room makes a quiet den for films, and a private air-conditioned gym keeps routines on track. A villa manager is on hand, housekeeping visits twice a week, and an airport transfer is included, which makes arrival wonderfully simple.
