The two-storey house, designed by Sukyf & Architects, pairs smooth polished cement with warm wood, patterned tiles and woven rattan, and its long glass walls slide open onto a lawn and a seven-metre pool framed by tropical planting.
The double-height living room is bright and air-conditioned, with an indoor garden, deep sofas and a Smart TV for quiet evenings. The kitchen has a concrete breakfast bar and sits beside a long timber dining table, and a barbecue by the pool makes dinner at home easy; a chef can be arranged on request at extra cost. Upstairs, the master suite opens onto a balcony over the pool, and a dedicated kids’ room with bunk beds and a baby cot makes this a natural fit for young families.
Canggu is right on the doorstep. The Shady Shack, Deus Ex Machina and a string of cafés are a few minutes’ walk away, and Echo Beach, Batu Bolong and the surf at Old Man’s are close by, yet the house feels private and calm behind its walls. Breakfast is included every morning and the villa team keeps everything running smoothly.
