Villa Manu Gede

Slip into the seventeen-metre pool at Villa Manu Gede and you can swim straight up to a sunken lounge set into the water’s edge, a cushioned pit where the whole family can sit with their feet in the pool. Built in 2026 in a quiet residential corner of Sanur, this is the larger of the two Manu Villas, and its name follows Balinese tradition, Gede being the name given to a firstborn. The pool has a shallow section for younger swimmers, and a shaded pavilion with loungers looks back across the water.

Inside, the look is calm and natural: pale walls, warm timber, rattan pendants and linen. The air-conditioned living room flows into a long dining table and an open kitchen with an island for casual breakfasts. Upstairs, a media room with a 120-inch projector screen is made for film nights, and the top floor holds a covered dining terrace with its own kitchen and sunset views, alongside a gym. An infrared sauna and an ice bath complete the wellness line-up.

Continental breakfast is included each morning and a villa manager, service staff and security look after the house, with a chef available to cook other meals at extra charge. Sanur’s reef-sheltered beaches are known for their gentle water, and Mertasari Beach is about a ten-minute walk away, with a pilates studio, a ceramics studio and local cafes even closer to the gate.
