Villa Amara Pradi

A fifteen-metre pool runs the length of Villa Amara Pradi’s garden like a strip of jade, flanked by lawn, frangipani trees and a line of dark timber loungers. At one end stands the crisp white two-storey house; at the other, a thatched open-air pavilion with deep sofas faces back down the water. Refurbished in 2023, the interiors pair cool marble floors and black timber with bold abstract canvases, a calm and grown-up take on Balinese style.

Indoors, the lounge opens to the garden, a long dining table seats ten beneath drum pendants, and a sleek white kitchen has an island and a Nespresso machine. One bedroom sits on the ground floor and three more are upstairs, each with its own bathroom and a balcony over the pool and garden. The master has a freestanding bathtub, and the two guest rooms come with twin beds that can be joined as kings.

Continental breakfast is included every day, with a villa manager, service staff and security on hand, and a private chef, in-villa treatments and yoga lessons available on request at extra cost. The villa sits at the end of a quiet lane in the Petitenget end of Seminyak, a short walk from Seminyak and Petitenget beaches, with Motel Mexicola, La Lucciola and Potato Head all within around a kilometre. Canggu is roughly twenty minutes away and the airport about thirty.
