Villa Pantai Indah

Pererenan Beach is barely a minute’s stroll from the gate of Villa Pantai Indah, close enough to check the surf before breakfast. Behind its walls the villa is all clean lines, stone and timber, with a turquoise pool set into a lawn, a fish pond and walls hung with tumbling greenery, and a rooftop that looks out towards the ocean.

The living room opens straight onto the pool through tall glass doors, with plenty of seating, a library of books and board games and a Smart TV, and a ten-seat dining table sits beneath oversized rattan lanterns. The kitchen is well equipped with a counter for casual meals, and a private chef can be booked on request at extra cost. Up top, lounge beds and an indoor lounge share the rooftop, and the open deck makes a peaceful place for morning yoga. Interiors are bright and characterful, mixing contemporary pieces with bold colour and local art.

Each of the four main bedrooms has a king bed, and two ground-floor rooms have garden bathrooms with bathtubs. A separate kids’ room with a bunk bed suits families with younger children. Breakfast is included every day, and the cafés of Pererenan and the beach bars of Echo Beach are within easy reach, with central Canggu a short drive away.
