Villa Parichart

Villa Parichart rises over three levels on the green slopes of Plai Laem, with a panorama that stretches across the treetops to the bays of Samui’s north coast and the islands on the horizon. It is built for big groups: up to eighteen guests across six bedrooms, with a lift to every floor and step-free access, so grandparents, parents and children can all share one house without anyone feeling squeezed. The beaches of Plai Laem and Choeng Mon, and the Big Buddha temple, are all a short drive away.

The pool terrace is where everyone ends up. A wide infinity pool runs to the edge of the view, lined with blue-cushioned sunloungers and shaded by big umbrellas, and the sunsets here are spectacular, painting the sky orange and pink behind the hills. Under a timber-beamed roof alongside, a long dining table seats the whole group, with a barbecue close by and a sea-facing lounge for drinks as the light fades. Indoors, the main living room has deep white sofas and a smart TV, and the kitchen has an island with stools, warm timber cabinets and all the essentials.

Six air-conditioned bedrooms each have their own bathroom. Three have king beds, some with the pool and sea right outside the glass, there is a twin room, and a fun bunk room sleeps six, a favourite with children. On the ground floor, a self-contained apartment with its own king bedroom, lounge, dining table and kitchenette suits grandparents or a couple who like their own space. There is also a well-equipped gym with a table tennis table, a quiet home office for anyone who needs to check in with work, and 24-hour security.
