Villa Sukham

Villa Sukham is a sleek, contemporary home set into the hillside above Chaweng, where the garden drops away to a view of blue sea, green headlands and wide open sky. Calm, neutral interiors, dark timber floors and full-height glass let that view take centre stage from almost every room. It feels tucked away and peaceful, yet Chaweng’s restaurants and the snorkelling coves of Chaweng Noi and Coral Cove are only a short drive away.

The infinity pool runs along the front of the villa with loungers lined up on the deck, and late in the day the water glows as the sky turns pink over the hills. Beside it, a neat lawn and tropical planting give children room to run, while shaded terraces and private balconies offer quieter corners. Inside, the bright living room flows to a dining table beneath sculptural lamps and a well-equipped kitchen, and the house keeps plenty in reserve for slower days: a billiard room, a media room with a projector screen, and a gym.

All six bedrooms have king beds, their own bathrooms with bathtubs and double sinks, a flat-screen TV and floor-to-ceiling glass opening onto balconies or the pool deck. For smaller groups, the villa can also be booked with two, three or four bedrooms. Breakfast and a return airport transfer are included, housekeeping and security are provided, and a private chef, driver, massage and babysitting can be arranged.
