Villa Summer Estate

Villa Summer Estate sits right on the sand at Natai Beach, just north of Phuket in Phang Nga, where a long, quiet shoreline stretches away in both directions and the sun sinks straight into the Andaman Sea. A wide, manicured lawn runs from the house to the beach, so mornings start with bare feet on grass and a few steps later on sand. Bright, white and full of light, the villa is a relaxed, grown-up beach house that works just as well for families with children.

At its heart is a fourteen-metre pool with loungers and big parasols, set between the house and the sea. Beside it, an outdoor dining table catches the sunset, and a lounge on the lawn is the place to watch the light fade. Indoors, open-plan living and dining rooms slide open to the pool and the beach, with deep white sofas and a sleek kitchen with a long island. When you want a change of pace there is a home cinema, a family TV room, a gym with views over the garden, a spa room for massages and a table tennis table, and kayaks are on hand for paddling along the shore.

The five bedrooms are bright and airy, many with sea views and some opening straight onto the terraces. Three have king beds, one has two queen beds for children or teenagers, and one has a queen bed, each with its own bathroom. Breakfast is included, a chef can cook lunch and dinner, and a team of five, including a villa manager, housekeepers, a gardener and night-time security, looks after the house. A return airport transfer is included, and the airport is around half an hour away.
