Villa Tierra
Why We Recommend Villa Tierra
Villa Tierra is a one-bedroom hideaway right on the shore at Bangrak, on Samui’s north coast, made for two people who want space, light and the sea in front of them. The whole villa is a single, low white pavilion with walls of sliding glass, so the bed, the lounge and the pool all share the same view of palms, water and the hills of the neighbouring islands. At almost two hundred square metres, it feels far more generous than most villas built for couples.
The pool runs right along the front of the terrace, edged by loungers and a shaded table for long, lazy lunches. Beyond it, a lawn and stepping stones lead down towards the water, and frangipani and old trees frame the view. Inside, pale timber, white stone and a large sea-green artwork set a calm, coastal mood. A deep sectional sofa faces a TV with streaming for slow evenings, and the kitchen has open shelving, a coffee maker and a microwave, with a table for four beside it.
The bedroom sits on a low platform with a king bed and looks straight out over the pool to the bay, so mornings start with the horizon. A long vanity and a glass rain shower complete the suite. Breakfast is included, a villa manager and daily housekeeping look after the details, and there is a shared gym nearby. Fisherman’s Village is about a kilometre and a half away, and Samui International Airport only a few minutes’ drive.
