Good To Know

Not beachfront — The 800-metre walk to Double Six Beach takes roughly ten minutes on foot. Grab bikes from the villa or hail a passing taxi if the midday heat is too much.
Two-burner kitchen — The kitchen is well-stocked with a blender, coffee machine, toaster and microwave, but the cooktop has only two burners, so serious cooks may prefer to hire the chef.
Ideal for children — The walled garden and ground-floor bedroom access make it easy to keep an eye on kids around the pool, though there is no pool fence, so young swimmers need supervision.
Quiet lane, lively neighbourhood — The villa’s secluded entrance keeps noise to a minimum, but Jalan Basangkasa’s warungs, Made’s Warung and Shelter Cafe are just a few minutes’ walk away.
