Villa White Skies

Villa White Skies is a crisp, contemporary home of white walls and wide glass set among tropical greenery near Natai Beach, just north of Phuket across the Sarasin Bridge. Natai is one of the quietest stretches of sand on this coast, long and uncrowded, yet the airport is only around half an hour away. Inside, bold modern art and splashes of colour bring the light-filled rooms to life, and with five bedrooms, including a bunk room for children, it suits families especially well.

Life revolves around a big saltwater pool, around ninety square metres with a shallow end for younger swimmers and a deep end for confident swimmers. Sun loungers line one side and a timber gazebo offers shade on the other, while the glass-fronted balconies on the upper floors look down over the water and gardens. Up on the roof, a vast terrace with a giant cushioned day bed is the spot for watching the sun go down, with an outdoor dining table for meals under the sky.

Downstairs, the open-plan living room is lined with bookshelves and opens through glass doors to the pool terrace, and the main dining table sits beside a sleek, well-equipped kitchen with a separate table for the children. A media room with a sofa bed and a small study, a spa room for massages and a library make rainy afternoons easy. The villa is fully staffed, a chef cooks on request, breakfast is included every day, and a return airport transfer is part of the stay.
