Villa Yin
Why We Recommend Villa Yin
Villa Yin sits high on the headland above Kamala, looking out over a sweep of turquoise water and forested hills. It is a big, confident house with a gallery feel: glossy black floors, vivid modern artwork, statement chandeliers and walls of sliding glass that keep the sea in view wherever you are. With over a thousand square metres of living space and its own landscaped garden, it suits large families and groups of friends who want room to spread out.
The centrepiece is an eighteen-metre saltwater infinity pool, lined in dark stone, that seems to merge with the horizon, with a shallow section for children. Shaded daybeds, loungers and a hanging rattan chair line the deck, and a raised timber platform with a canopied daybed catches the breeze and the evening light. Inside, the high-ceilinged living pavilion opens straight onto the terrace, with deep sofas facing the sea, a dining table with bright red chairs and a sleek kitchen with built-in appliances. There is even a private sauna for cooler moments after a swim.
Five bedrooms are finished in crisp white and bold colour, and several open onto balconies with sea views, some with playful hanging bubble chairs. Bathrooms have double vanities and mosaic-tiled showers, and one bedroom sits on the ground floor for anyone who prefers to avoid stairs. A villa manager, housekeeping and 24-hour security keep things running smoothly, and a return airport transfer is included. Villa Yin’s sister, the three-bedroom Villa Yang, is right next door and can be booked alongside it.
