Villa Yindee

Villa Yindee sits high on the green hillside above Bophut, with a sweeping view over the treetops to the turquoise water of Samui’s north coast and the islands beyond. It is a crisp, contemporary home in white and black, built over several levels so that almost every room faces the panorama. Fisherman’s Village, with its walking street, boutiques and seafront restaurants, is a short drive down the hill.

The pool terrace is the place to be. A sleek infinity pool runs along the edge of the deck, with white sunbeds and fresh pool towels waiting, and it seems to merge with the horizon. A shaded outdoor lounge with a long sofa looks out over the same view, ideal for an evening drink as the sun goes down. Inside, sliding glass walls frame the vista from an open-plan living room with a black sectional and a large smart TV, a black marble dining table and a gleaming white kitchen with modern appliances.

Three king bedrooms each have floor-to-ceiling windows onto the hills and sea, a wall-mounted TV, air conditioning and an open-plan en-suite with double vessel basins and a walk-in rain shower. Breakfast is included, a villa manager is on hand and housekeeping calls every other day. Return airport transfers are included too, which makes arrival day easy for families and small groups of friends.
