Akasha Berawa Jungle
Why We Recommend Akasha Berawa Jungle
The smaller Akasha units trade bedrooms for greenery, and this one is buried in it. Banana and traveller’s palm crowd the courtyard on three sides, so the plunge pool sits in a green room with the sky as its ceiling, and the villa reads as a jungle hideout despite being minutes from one of Bali’s busiest strips.
The material palette is the compound’s: board-formed concrete, a deep timber-clad ceiling and steel-framed glass that folds away entirely along the pool. Living, kitchen and dining share one open volume with built-in seating along the wall, a compact timber island and stools, and joinery let into the concrete rather than placed against it.
The bedroom sits behind glass with the planting immediately outside, and its en-suite carries a deep soaking tub beneath a stone-lined wall. It is a villa for two that feels considerably more substantial than its footprint, and it can be taken alongside the other Akasha units when a group wants separate front doors under one roofline.
