Baan Kimsacheva

Baan Kimsacheva rises over several levels on a green hillside above Chaweng, with long views across the treetops to the coast and the hills of northern Koh Samui. Pale stone, white timber and full-height shutters give it a breezy, contemporary feel, while landscaped gardens, ponds and a fountain keep everything cool and green. You are only minutes from Chaweng’s beach, shops and restaurants, and the airport is close by, yet up here the mood is quiet and private.

The fifteen-metre infinity pool seems to spill straight into the view, with a thatched sala and a shaded lounge of plush rattan seating beside it. Dining and cooking happen at pool level: a long timber table sits right at the edge of the terrace for meals in the open air, and the modern kitchen is fully equipped for the villa’s chef or for your own cooking. Above the pool are two whitewashed living rooms, one for lounging with the view and one with a large television and satellite channels for film nights.

Six bedrooms are split between two levels, three above the main living area and three below the pool, so everyone has room to spread out. Most have four-poster or king beds dressed in white, and each opens through full-length shutters onto its own furnished balcony. The bathrooms are generous, with double basins, walk-in showers and deep freestanding tubs. Breakfast is included, airport transfers are part of the stay, and massages and island tours can be arranged.
