Casawatu

Casawatu reads like a whitewashed island house that drifted across from the Aegean and settled above Bingin. Tall arched windows in slim black frames, chalk-white walls and a carved timber door open onto a courtyard pool shaded by a bamboo pergola — a composition that feels both sun-bleached and thoroughly tropical.

Inside, a sunken lounge is built into the floor beneath a sculptural staircase, and the kitchen runs along a pale stone island lit by raffia pendants. The detailing rewards a second look: a stone-clad wall here, a bathroom in sea-green herringbone tile there, an arched mirror catching the light.
