Villa Mila A1 sits within the gated Katamanda estate, the leafy hillside enclave between Kata and Kata Noi, where 24-hour security and mature tropical gardens keep the outside world at a comfortable distance. The sand, shops and restaurants of Kata are only a few minutes away, yet behind the gates all you hear is birdsong and the breeze in the palms. Crisp white walls, dark timber and splashes of Thai colour give the house a fresh, modern look across three light-filled floors.

The long pool runs the length of the house, lined with sun loungers and framed by greenery, with glimpses of the sea over the treetops. As evening falls, the covered terrace comes into its own: a dining table for six sits beside the water, and the lit pool glows against the darkening garden. Up top, a private rooftop terrace with sun beds and lounge seating is a lovely spot for a sunset drink or a barbecue under the stars. Inside, the open living room has deep sofas, a large TV and glass doors to the garden, and the sleek white kitchen is fully equipped, with a breakfast counter for quick bites.

All four bedrooms have their own bathrooms and private balconies or outdoor access. Three have king beds, one of them a romantic four-poster, and the main suite has a sitting area and a deep bathtub. The fourth room has two four-poster single beds and its own lounge corner, perfect for children or friends sharing. Beyond the villa, guests can use the estate’s tennis court, and the team can arrange a private chef, childcare, car hire and airport transfers.
