Maison Kala

Maison Kala is a two-storey villa built in warm limestone and timber on the open edge of Seseh, where the fields still run down toward the sea. A narrow lap pool is set into a hardwood deck along the flank of the house, hemmed by a rough stone wall that holds the day’s heat into the evening.

The upper terrace is the villa’s quiet triumph: a bamboo pergola, a long built-in bench and an uninterrupted outlook over green fields and palms. Below, exposed timber beams cross the living room, a woven timber panel rises behind the bed, and a freestanding tub sits against stone in the ensuite.

Two bedrooms sleep four, both looking out through walls of glass to the fields. Seseh Beach is around five hundred metres away, and Canggu is a short drive when the quiet starts to feel too complete.
