Premium Beach Residence Villa

A long, slim pool runs the length of the garden here, flanked by a strip of lawn on one side and a timber deck on the other, with a shaded daybed pavilion at the far end and a shallow children’s ledge built right into the water. It sets the tone for a villa that is clearly made with families in mind: a recently renovated four-bedroom home in the heart of Canggu, just a short stroll from the beach.

The ground floor is one generous open-plan space, with an L-shaped sofa and big-screen TV in the lounge, a long wooden dining table under woven pendant lamps and a modern kitchen fitted with every appliance, all opening to the pool through a wall of sliding glass. The four bedrooms are spread over two floors; those downstairs step straight out to the garden, while the upstairs rooms have small balconies, and each comes with its own TV, storage and ensuite bathroom. Upstairs bathrooms are partly open to the sky and filled with greenery, and one features a freestanding stone bathtub. Up top, a rooftop terrace with sofas, hanging chairs and a barbecue looks out across the neighbourhood.

A team of three looks after daily cleaning, the garden and the pool, and a chef can be booked to cook at the villa. Little ones are well catered for, with a baby cot, high chair, stroller, safety gates and pool toys on hand, while the surf and sunsets of Echo Beach and Batu Bolong, plus Canggu’s cafés, shops and spas, are all within easy reach.
