Samui Summit Villa
Why We Recommend Samui Summit Villa
Perched on a forested hilltop above Choeng Mon on Koh Samui’s tranquil northeast coast, Samui Summit Villa commands a 200-degree sweep of the Gulf of Thailand — a panorama TripAdvisor has rated the finest on the island. The infinity pool runs right to the edge of a steep drop, so you seem to swim straight out into the seascape, while two broad balconies face opposite points of the compass, one for the sunrise and one for the sunset. Across 520 square metres on two levels, five bedrooms sleep up to ten, striking a balance of space and intimacy that suits multi-generational families and groups of friends alike.
The hilltop gives more than the view. Choeng Mon is one of Samui’s gentler coastal villages — a crescent of soft sand backed by coconut palms, where beachfront grills serve the evening’s catch and a Wednesday walking-street market brings out fruit carvers, craft stalls and live music. Big Buddha is seven minutes by car, Bophut’s Fisherman’s Village ten, Chaweng’s shopping and nightlife thirteen. Close enough to reach the whole island, high enough to feel genuinely above it all.
What sets Samui Summit apart from other hilltop fives is the depth of service folded into the rate. A live-in team handles daily housekeeping, twice-weekly linen and pool care unprompted, continental breakfast is cooked fresh and served poolside, and airport transfers run both ways. Guest manager David — English, French and Chinese — checks in proactively and arranges chef dinners, in-villa massage, charters or car hire at short notice, while Ning and Pon earn a mention in review after review for warmth that goes well beyond the expected. Downstairs, a media room with a pool table gives the group somewhere to gather on nights nobody wants to leave the hill.
