Villa Samujana Neung

Samujana Villa 1 is a sleek, low-slung modern home on the hillside above Choeng Mon, all white stone, glass and clean lines, with uninterrupted views across the bay to the islands beyond. The style is calm minimalism warmed by bold contemporary art, and almost every space opens straight onto terraces and lawn. It suits larger families and groups of friends who want room to spread out without ever losing sight of the sea.

The centrepiece is a vast L-shaped infinity pool, long enough for proper laps, edged with cushioned sun beds and a wide deck that seems to hang over the water. A shaded sala with deep cushioned seating looks straight out to sea, and a timber deck with its own section of pool turns pink and gold at sunset.
