Villa Yee Sip See

Samujana Villa 24 is the largest residence on the Samujana estate, an eight-bedroom home of more than eighteen hundred square metres that spans two plots on the hillside above Choeng Mon. Built over three levels in clean white lines, natural stone and warm timber, with planted green roofs stepping down the slope, it has open sea views across the Gulf of Thailand from the morning light through to sunset.

Outside, an infinity pool of over eighteen metres stretches along the main terrace, with a timber-framed pavilion beside it and the bay seemingly running straight on from the edge. A second pool area sits on a lower level, and up on the roof a sun terrace with a shaded daybed and loungers looks out over the treetops. The signature spot is a sunken lounge under a slatted timber pergola, where low cushioned seating faces the sea and glows softly after dark.

Inside there are five separate living areas, two dining areas and two fully equipped kitchens, so a large group never feels on top of one another. A cinema, game room with billiards, study, steam room, treatment room and private gym fill out the lower levels. All eight bedrooms have king beds, en-suite bathrooms with free-standing tubs and rain showers, and their own balconies. A team of four, led by a villa manager, looks after the house, with daily breakfast and housekeeping included.
