Samujana Villa 7 is a crisp, white, design-led house perched high on the Samujana hillside above Choeng Mon, built around one long, glassy infinity pool that seems to pour straight into the bay. From almost anywhere on the deck the view runs out over the treetops to the turquoise water, the curve of the coast and the islands beyond, and at dusk the pool glows electric blue against the darkening sea. With four bedrooms rather than a sprawling estate, it feels intimate and calm, ideal for couples, friends or a family who want the drama of a Samujana view at a more personal scale.

The pool is the star, more than fifteen metres long, edged by a wide stone deck with sunbeds and a big orange umbrella. Beside it, a partly covered outdoor lounge and a long timber dining table make the most of the view at every meal. Inside, the architecture plays with light: a skylit courtyard with a still, tiled water feature and a single tree sits at the heart of the house, and the open living room looks out over the pool to the sea. There is a contemporary kitchen with a long breakfast counter, a glass-fronted wine wall, a private gym and a cosy media room with a deep sofa for film nights.

All four bedrooms have king beds, air-conditioning and their own bathrooms, finished in soft whites, pale timber and sea-glass tiles, and they open onto manicured gardens. One bedroom is on the ground floor and three are upstairs. Two staff look after the house, and breakfast each day, housekeeping, security and airport transfers are included, while in-villa meals, massage, laundry and babysitting can be booked.
