The Heights Penthouse A2 is a spacious three-bedroom penthouse apartment in The Heights, a low-rise residence set into the green hillside above Kata, with sweeping views over the bay, its little offshore island and the open Andaman Sea. Spread over two levels and around four hundred square metres, it feels far more like a sleek private home than an apartment, with walls of glass, cool pale floors and bold splashes of colour from striped cushions and modern art. Kata Beach, its cafés and restaurants are only a short drive down the hill.

The penthouse has its own private infinity pool, a twelve-metre lap pool running the length of the terrace so that you swim straight towards the view. A frangipani-shaded terrace with loungers and outdoor seating looks out over the treetops to the sea, and a barbecue makes it easy to dine outside as the light fades. Inside, the open living room has deep sofas facing a big TV and floor-to-ceiling windows framing the bay, with a glass dining table for the whole group beside a sea-view window and a modern kitchen with oven alongside. Residents can also use the building’s shared pools, set among palms and timber decks, and a shared gym with treadmills and free weights.

All three bedrooms have king beds, a TV, air conditioning and their own bathroom, and several look out through big sliding doors to the greenery and the sea. The master bathroom is a glass-walled marble space with a deep bathtub.
