The Kiri Villas

The Kiri Villas is a bright, modern single-storey pool villa tucked into a quiet, small development inland from Bang Tao, on Phuket’s west coast. Tall green hedges wrap the garden, so the whole home feels private and calm, a short drive from the beach yet away from the bustle. With two king bedrooms and a little over two hundred square metres of space, it is an easy, good-value base for two couples or a young family who would rather have their own pool than share one.

The long, turquoise-tiled pool runs the length of the courtyard, framed by clipped hedges on one side and the villa’s glass doors on the other, with sun loungers at one end for lazy afternoons. Inside, the open-plan living room has a deep sofa facing a large smart TV, and sliding doors open straight onto the water. The kitchen is fully equipped for self-catering, with a coffee machine, microwave and toaster, and a dining table for six sits beneath a statement brass chandelier.

Both bedrooms have king beds, generous wardrobes and big windows onto the garden or the pool, with splashes of colour and artwork on the walls. Each has its own bathroom with a walk-in rain shower, and freestanding bathtubs add a touch of indulgence. Air conditioning runs throughout, breakfast is included, and Bang Tao’s sands, the Laguna area and Layan are all within a short drive, with the Bang Tao night market close by for an easy evening out.
