Veyla – Sea Villa

Veyla Sea Villa is a sleek three-storey home in the Veyla estate on Natai Beach, just north of Phuket, set one row back from the sand so that its upper floors look out over the treetops to the Andaman Sea. The style is quietly modern, all soft greys, pale oak and floor-to-ceiling glass, and the layout is clever: bedrooms below, an airy living floor with its own pool in the middle, and a private master suite on top. It suits a family or a group of friends who like space to spread out and a beach that is never crowded.

The heart of the house is the middle floor, where a long sectional sofa faces sliding glass walls that open onto the pool terrace. The pool runs the full width of the house, nine metres long, and by late afternoon the sky over Natai turns pink and gold straight ahead. Behind the living area, the kitchen is built around a long stone island with stools, perfect for breakfast, and a second terrace sits on the garden side. Hanging chairs beneath a living green wall and a cascade of planting along the staircase keep the whole house feeling cool and leafy.

Each of the three bedrooms has a king bed and its own bathroom. Two guest rooms sit on the ground floor, opening onto a lawn, while the master suite occupies the top floor with its own terrace, sea views through glass walls and a bathroom with a freestanding tub and walk-in shower. Daily breakfast is included, a chef can cook other meals in the villa, and a villa manager and housekeeping are on hand, so the days can be about the beach, the pool and the sunsets.
