Villa Amylia Ruby

Villa Amylia Ruby is a contemporary hillside home in Narayan Heights, a peaceful gated community in North Chaweng where the neighbours are private houses rather than hotels. Soft grey stone, warm timber slats and floor-to-ceiling glass give it a calm, polished feel, and from almost every room the view runs out over the sea to Koh Mat Lang and the hills along the coast, from first light until dusk.

The infinity pool, eleven metres long, has a shallow children’s pool built into it, so the youngest guests can splash safely while everyone else swims. Loungers and big parasols line the timber deck, and a covered outdoor lounge with deep sofas sits to one side for long, lazy afternoons. As the light fades, the pool glows against a sky that turns orange over the islands, one of the loveliest sunset views on this side of Samui.

Indoors, the living and dining area shares one bright room, with sofas around a coffee table, a large television and a long table for the whole group, all opening onto the pool deck. The kitchen is well equipped for anyone who likes to cook, and meals can also be prepared for you on request. Four en-suite bedrooms include a sea-view master suite, a garden room with its own terrace and a children’s room with bunks, and a villa manager and housekeeping team look after the house throughout your stay.
