Villa Anjani Tiga
Why We Recommend Villa Anjani Tiga
A two-storey house of timber louvres and stone wraps around a long turquoise pool at Villa Anjani Tiga, with tall frangipani and bamboo screening the garden from the lane outside. It sits in Berawa, the stretch of Canggu where you can wander down to the beach on foot and find cafés, massage spots and padel courts within a few minutes’ stroll.
The ground floor is one big open room facing the water: deep sofas heaped with blue cushions, a long timber dining table that seats ten and a kitchen of dark stone counters and warm wood cabinetry. Glass doors slide back so the living space runs straight onto the pool deck, where loungers sit under blue umbrellas and a wide lawn, part of some 640 square metres of garden, gives children room to run. A covered pavilion at the edge of the garden makes a shady spot for an afternoon read.
Upstairs there is a second, enclosed lounge with air conditioning and a smart TV, a welcome retreat for film nights or a cool hour out of the sun. Five bedrooms, each with its own bathroom, spread across both levels, with the downstairs rooms opening towards the pool and two upper rooms sharing a balcony over the treetops. A small team looks after the house each day, leaving you free to enjoy Berawa’s beach clubs and restaurants.
