Villa Avocagolf

From the rooftop terrace of Villa Avocagolf the view runs out over fairway greens and treetops towards the ocean, with the evening sky turning pink above it all. This contemporary four-bedroom villa rises over three levels in Pecatu, within the gated Pecatu Indah Resort estate near the New Kuta golf course, in the quieter green heart of southern Bali.

Inside, warm timber ceilings and walls of glass give the open-plan living space a calm, modern feel. Deep sofas face a large television with karaoke for relaxed nights in, a long dining table seats the whole group, and the kitchen is fully equipped for anyone who likes to cook. Sliding doors open onto the deck and an infinity pool that looks across open greenery, lit softly after dark, with sunbeds and a terrace for meals outdoors.

The four air-conditioned bedrooms are bright and uncluttered, each with its own bathroom and large windows; the master suite has a king bed and a private terrace, and one room is set up with twin beds for children or friends. Breakfast is included, and a chef can cook other meals on request. Balangan, Bingin and Padang Padang beaches are a short drive away, as are the clifftop temple at Uluwatu and the area’s cafés and beach clubs.
