Villa Belcasa

Villa Belcasa is a crisp, contemporary home in Cherng Talay, a short trip from the long sweep of Bang Tao Beach and an easy walk from the cafés, shops and restaurants around Boat Avenue. Behind its clean white walls and warm timber screens, the whole house turns inwards to a private pool courtyard planted with palms and heliconias, so it feels calm and secluded even in one of Phuket’s liveliest neighbourhoods. With three king suites, it is a relaxed, easy base for a family or two couples.

Floor-to-ceiling glass runs the length of the ground floor, opening the living room, dining table and kitchen straight onto the pool. The water stretches along a timber deck, with a pair of loungers tucked into a shady corner, and the soft planting all around catches the breeze through the day. Inside, a double-height living room with a floating glass staircase and a large smart TV is filled with light, and the pale oak and stone finishes give everything a fresh, Scandinavian-meets-tropical feel.

The kitchen is genuinely well equipped, with a long island, oven, coffee maker and plenty of space to cook, and a chef can be arranged if you would rather not. Upstairs, all three bedrooms have king beds, air conditioning and their own bathrooms, with walk-in wardrobes and freestanding bathtubs for long, lazy soaks. A glass-railed gallery looks down over the living room, and balconies peer out over the treetops.
