Villa Belle

A curved glass pavilion is the heart of Villa Belle, its floor-to-ceiling windows bending around the garden so that almost every seat in the house looks out at the water. The whitewashed, two-storey villa sits on a quiet residential lane in central Seminyak, close enough to stroll to Eat Street for dinner and to the beach for sunset.

Outside, a long nine-metre pool is built for proper laps, with a round jacuzzi and shallow plunge area at one end where children can splash safely. Sun loungers line a trim lawn, and an outdoor lounge under a red umbrella makes an easy perch for an evening drink. Inside the pavilion, cushioned sofas face a large TV, a raised dining area seats eight, and a sleek open kitchen with a marble island, built-in oven and induction hob is ready for anyone who likes to cook.

The four air-conditioned bedrooms each have their own bathroom and TV, and every one opens onto the garden or the first-floor terrace, so mornings start in the sunshine. Two of the bedrooms sit apart from the main house for extra privacy, and two bathrooms have freestanding bathtubs. A friendly team of five handles daily housekeeping and can arrange breakfast, massages and outings.
