Villa Delight

Villa Delight is the rare Berawa villa that has thought about what a group actually does between beach trips. There is a full-size pool table in the open living space, a gym corner with proper equipment, and a kitchen island with bar seating that becomes the centre of the house by mid-morning. It is a holiday house rather than a design statement, and groups tend to relax into it fast.

The building is a two-storey white villa with tall arched windows and steel frames, which throw long shapes of light across the pale floors through the day. Downstairs runs as one connected space — kitchen, dining, lounge and games area — opening to a broad pool terrace edged with palms and loungers, with a balcony above catching the breeze.

Five bedrooms sleep ten, each with its own bathroom and generous storage, and the upstairs rooms open onto the balcony. Berawa Beach, the beach clubs and the stretch of cafés and restaurants along Jalan Pantai Berawa are all close enough that a group can split up for the day and reconvene at the villa without anyone having to plan around transport.
