Villa Hibiscus

Villa Hibiscus is a calm, light-filled Thai villa in Mae Nam, on Koh Samui’s quiet north coast, set in a small private estate a short stroll from the beach. Glass walls and wide doors bring the sea and the tropical garden into almost every room, from the living spaces to the bedrooms. Nothing here is loud or fussy: it is a place to slow down, listen to the palms and watch the light change over the bay.

The turquoise pool is the centre of the villa, with an infinity edge looking out over the greenery, a row of sun loungers under umbrellas and a shallow end where children can splash safely. Beside it, a shaded sala with a canopy daybed and a dining table makes an easy spot for long lunches. Inside, the airy ground-floor pavilion holds the living room, a dining table for eight with sea views, and a sleek, modern kitchen where the villa’s cooks prepare meals.

Four bedrooms sleep up to eight, with two king rooms and two twin rooms, all with their own bathrooms and big windows onto the garden and sea. The bathrooms are generous, with deep tubs and glass-walled showers. Breakfast is included every morning, a dedicated team of staff looks after the villa, and an arrival airport transfer is arranged for you. For couples or smaller families, the villa can also be booked with just two or three bedrooms.
