Villa Infinity View

Villa Infinity View lives up to its name. Set on the green hillside between lively Kata Beach and quieter Kata Noi, it looks out over treetops and palms to the blue of the Andaman Sea, with the little island of Koh Pu sitting on the horizon. Red-tiled roofs, warm timber and white walls give it the relaxed feel of a tropical family home, and guests often say it is the stillness up here that stays with them long after the view.

The ten-metre infinity pool is where most days begin and end. Loungers line a wide tiled deck, some shaded by parasols and pergolas, and an outdoor dining table looks straight across the water to the sea. At the far end of the pool a covered terrace holds a second table and comfortable seating, and below the house a lawn and frangipani garden give children room to run. Barbecue equipment is on hand for evenings outdoors.

Inside, the airy living room rises to a pitched timber ceiling, with a big L-shaped sofa, a smart TV and an entire wall of books, while the dining table seats six beside it. The kitchen is properly equipped, breakfast is included each day, and the chef can cook lunch and dinner on request. The bedrooms are a mix of double, twin and bunk rooms, one double opens onto the lawn, and the villa can be booked with three, four or five bedrooms to suit the size of your group. A small gym, a foosball table and a caring villa team round things off.
