Villa Jabunami

Out among the terraced rice fields of Canggu, where egrets pick through the paddies and the evening light turns everything gold, Villa Jabunami offers two homes in one. The estate is made up of a pair of independent villas side by side, each with its own pool, living room, kitchen and dining space, so a large family or two families travelling together can share the same address while still having room to breathe.

Both villas centre on a seven-metre pool wrapped in timber decking, with sun loungers and a thatched gazebo for shade. The two-storey pavilions open onto the water, with semi-open living rooms, wide-screen televisions and modern kitchens where the in-house chef can turn out Balinese favourites or international dishes on request. Out in the garden, a pergola-covered dining deck sets the scene for long outdoor lunches, and breakfast is included each morning.

Seven bedrooms are spread across the two villas: four on the ground floor slide open straight to the pool, while three upstairs have balconies looking out across the green fields. Every room has its own bathroom with a bathtub and rain shower, several of them open to the sky. Echo Beach and its surf breaks are around ten minutes away, and the fairways of Nirwana Bali Golf Club are within easy reach.
