Villa Jagaditha
Why We Recommend Villa Jagaditha
At the far end of a long, sloping lawn, Villa Jagaditha’s infinity pool curves out towards the Indian Ocean, its edge lining up with the white surf breaking along the Seseh coast. Nearly a hectare of landscaped grounds runs right down to the ocean’s edge, and from a sunbed on the deck the only sounds are the waves and the palms moving in the breeze.
The villa is laid out as a collection of pavilions linked by stepping-stone paths, timber bridges and lily ponds. At its heart is an open-sided living and dining pavilion facing the sea, with deep sofas and a long table under lanterns that glow at dusk. A second lounge sits closer to the water for watching the sun go down, there is a sunset bale at the corner of the garden, and an air-conditioned media room, gym and spa pavilion round things out. Bedrooms are spread through the gardens in their own wings, with four-poster beds, timber floors and bathrooms with sunken or freestanding tubs and rain showers open to the sky.
A team of six looks after the house, with breakfast cooked daily by the villa’s chef and security around the clock. Beyond the gate, Cemagi beach is right on your doorstep, Tanah Lot temple is a short drive along the coast, and the cafés and surf shops of Canggu are within easy reach when you feel like venturing out.
