Villa Jamalu

A shaded daybed pavilion floats right over the pool at Villa Jamalu, and from it the view runs past the edge of the terrace, across the rooftops of Jimbaran and out to the sea. Set on a hillside above the bay in Jimbaran’s Temple Hill estate, this three-level villa is all about that horizon: sliding glass walls, warm timber floors and terraces stacked one above the other, each catching the breeze and the evening light.

The main living room opens straight onto the pool deck, with a second lounge and a formal dining room for long dinners, cooked by a private chef if you arrange one. Higher up, a rooftop lounge with shaded sofas and a dining table is the place for sunset, while the lower floors hold a billiard room, a fitness room with weights and cardio machines and a dedicated spa room for in-villa massages. A media room, Smart TVs with Netflix, books, board games and a BBQ grill round things out for slow evenings at home.

The four bedrooms are two master suites and two junior suites, all with king beds, some with draped four-posters and pool-facing windows, and each with its own stone bathroom with a rain shower, the two masters adding a deep tub. A villa manager, attendants and round-the-clock security look after the house, and breakfast is included every day. Jimbaran’s seafood cafés, GWK Cultural Park and Rock Bar all within easy reach.
