Villa Lingkar

Villa Lingkar is unlike anything else in Jimbaran: a cluster of round, thatched pavilions rising from a tropical garden, linked by a timber bridge and wrapped around a free-form pool. Walls of curved glass frame the treetops and sky from almost every angle, and the whole place feels more like a private island retreat than a villa a short drive from the airport.

The curving pool, bordered by a rustic timber deck with sun loungers and a shaded gazebo, sits at the centre of some two thousand square metres of gardens, with stone statues, lush planting and a fruit garden to wander through. The open-plan living and dining pavilion is breezy and relaxed, with deep round sofas, a long dining table and a private bar with stools beside the fully equipped kitchen, all looking out to the water.

The three bedrooms are each housed in their own circular pavilion. Two sit on the upper level, linked by a wooden walkway, and one is on the ground floor with its own TV; all have canopied king beds, air conditioning, en-suite bathrooms and floor-to-ceiling glass for uninterrupted views. Breakfast is included, Jimbaran Bay’s beach and seafood restaurants are close by, and the Garuda Wisnu Kencana cultural park and the beach clubs of southern Bali are an easy drive.
