Villa Kavya

Seventeen metres of clear blue water cut straight across the lawn at Villa Kavya, with a shallow children’s pool tucked alongside and a thatched bale strung with a hammock between the two. It is a layout built with families in mind, and it sits in a garden of around 800 square metres, rare space for Berawa, where Finns Beach Club and the area’s cafés are within walking distance.

The architecture pairs clean white lines with timber roofs and natural stone. An open-sided living pavilion with deep sofas looks straight down the pool, the dining table seats eight, and the modern kitchen is fully equipped, though the in-house team will happily take care of cooking. A media room with satellite TV sits beside the main pool, and a wooden deck and shaded terraces offer loungers in sun or shade, along with a lily pond and quiet garden corners for reading.

Four bedrooms are spread around the property for privacy: a large master suite facing the pool with its own front porch and an outdoor bathtub, two further king rooms, and a fourth room with twin beds that can be joined into a king. A team of four looks after the villa, with breakfast included each morning and other meals cooked to order at extra cost. Berawa and Batu Bolong beaches are around one to two kilometres away, and Tanah Lot makes an easy sunset trip.
