Villa Lea Estate

Tucked into the quiet village lanes of Umalas, between Seminyak and Canggu, Villa Lea Estate brings together two neighbouring villas behind one gate to create a seven-bedroom family hideaway of your own. Twin domed pavilions crowned with traditional thatch rise over curving turquoise pools, lush gardens and bright beanbags, and good restaurants and breakfast cafés are only about a five-minute walk away.

Each half of the estate has its own pool, living pavilion and fully equipped kitchen, which makes it brilliant for two families travelling together. The larger pool, around twelve metres long, is ringed with teal-cushioned sunloungers, a shady umbrella and a garden gazebo. Inside, sweeping round living rooms under soaring thatched ceilings hold big white sofas, smart TVs with streaming, board games and video games, while kitchens with arched windows, ovens, breakfast bars and tiled counters open onto long timber dining tables.

The seven bedrooms are all air-conditioned with their own en-suite bathrooms, several opening straight onto the garden or pool, and bathrooms that bring the outdoors in with garden showers and corner soaking tubs. A mix of king, queen, double and twin rooms means everyone, from grandparents to teenagers, has a comfortable space. Daily housekeeping, security and a welcome breakfast on arrival day help everyone settle in quickly.
