Villa Manis Cantik

Almost everything at Villa Manis Cantik is white: limestone walls, pale marble floors, sculptural sofas and chandeliers of glass petals, all set against a strip of turquoise water and tall palms. The effect is bright, cool and quietly glamorous, a gallery-like home in Seminyak’s quiet Taman Mertanadi pocket that feels miles from the scooters outside, yet sits a short stroll from Mama San and Boy N Cow.

The two-storey house wraps around an eight-metre pool lined with loungers and umbrellas. Downstairs, glass doors pull back so the lounge, a glass-topped dining table and a sleek marble kitchen all spill onto the terrace, and on warm evenings a table can be laid right at the water’s edge. Four bedrooms each come with their own ensuite, writing desk and bold contemporary art, while the master adds a freestanding bathtub and a view over the pool and garden.
