Villa Mas 4

Villa Mas 4 is the larger of the two Mas villas, and the one to take when the group has children in it. Four bedrooms open around a long pool set in lawn, with a thatched bale for shade at one end and enough space between the loungers that nobody is negotiating for a spot. It is bright, contemporary and easy to be in — crisp white walls, pale timber, woven rattan pendants — and it sits on the same quiet Seminyak lane, walking distance from Eat Street and a short drive from the beach.

Inside, the living and dining area is enclosed and air-conditioned, with high ceilings and elegant pendant lighting that make it feel considerably larger than its footprint. There is a lounge with a Smart TV for the hot part of the afternoon and a dining table that comfortably seats the whole group. The kitchen is the quiet star: fully equipped with modern appliances, open shelving, a dedicated coffee station and a breakfast bar with stools, so mornings happen naturally in one place rather than everyone waiting on a cook.

The four bedrooms are calm and minimalist, each with a king bed, air conditioning and generous wardrobe space with a safety box. The master opens directly onto the pool through sliding glass; others have their own touches, including a daybed nook and a dedicated workspace for anyone who has to keep half an eye on email. En-suite bathrooms are finished in warm microcement with spacious walk-in showers. For families with young children, a baby cot and high chair are available free of charge on request — a small thing that makes a real difference to how a week goes.
