Villa Becca Seminyak

A thatched bale floats at the end of Villa Becca’s ten-metre pool, set on its own little island of lawn with a fish pond alongside, and it quickly becomes everyone’s favourite spot. Just off Jalan Drupadi in the heart of Seminyak, this four-bedroom villa feels hidden and private behind its walls, yet Eat Street, Double Six Beach and a string of cafés and boutiques are all within walking distance.

The main pavilion is a single long room under a soaring timber roof, with a deep sofa lounge, a round dining table for eight and a fully equipped kitchen with a breakfast island, all opening through glass doors onto the water. The four king bedrooms sit around the garden, each cool and bright with its own television, and each paired with a striking semi-outdoor bathroom where a freestanding tub sits beneath open sky and a screen of tropical planting.

The pool catches sunshine throughout the day, with a shallow section for younger swimmers and loungers along the edge, and in the evening the garden lamps glow against the vaulted pavilions. Daily housekeeping, security and garden and pool care are handled by the villa team, and a floating breakfast, private chef or barbecue can be arranged when nobody feels like heading out to the restaurants of Seminyak.
