Villa Ocean’s 11
Why We Recommend Villa Ocean’s 11
Villa Ocean’s 11 sits on the clifftop at Cape Yamu, the quiet, gated headland on Phuket’s east coast, with Phang Nga Bay and its limestone islands spread out below. It is a striking contemporary home on a grand scale, more than two thousand square metres of living space set in over four thousand square metres of lawns and tropical gardens, and almost every room is built around walls of glass and the sea beyond. With six king suites for up to twelve guests, it is made for multi-generational families and big groups who want space, privacy and a view that never gets old.
The showpiece is a twenty-six-metre infinity pool that runs the length of the terrace and seems to spill straight into the bay, lined with loungers, daybeds and umbrellas. Steps lead down to shaded sofas made for sunset drinks, and a round glass table on the terrace is the place for long lunches with the islands in view. Inside, a soaring timber-vaulted living room opens onto the terraces, a second lounge with huge curved sofas gives everyone room to spread out, and the formal dining room seats the whole group beneath a chandelier.
When the house wants different things at once, there is a cinema room, a bright gym looking out to sea, a spa room for in-villa massages and a grass tennis court with views across the water. All six bedrooms have king beds, televisions and their own bathrooms, several open onto sea-view terraces, and one bathroom has a soaking tub by the garden windows. Four staff look after the villa, with housekeeping and 24-hour security, a chef cooks on request, and return airport transfers are included.
