Villa Siam Noi

Villa Siam Noi is a calm, single-storey pool villa inside a quiet gated estate just outside Choeng Mon, on the north-east tip of Koh Samui. A heavy timber door from the private parking opens onto a walled courtyard where everything turns towards the pool, framed by tropical planting and a peaked Thai-style sala. It feels private and easy-going, an ideal size for a couple, two couples or a young family, with the soft sand of Choeng Mon Beach and the village restaurants a short trip away.

The pool is generous for a villa of this size, around sixty square metres of clear blue water with steps to wade in, a timber sun deck and plump loungers for lazy afternoons. Under the sala, a dining table for six makes breakfast and dinner by the water the natural choice, and at night soft underwater lighting turns the courtyard a glowing turquoise. Inside, glass doors open the living room straight onto the deck, with a deep red sofa, a dining table for six and a sleek black-and-white kitchen with everything needed for home-cooked meals.

All three bedrooms open off the same level and each has its own bathroom, air conditioning and a TV. Two have king beds, one with glass doors looking straight out over the pool, and the third has two single beds, perfect for children or friends. Staff look after the villa, with regular housekeeping and 24-hour security, and meals, massages, a car or a driver can be arranged when you want them. Big Buddha, Plai Laem and Chaweng are all within a short drive.
