Why We Recommend Villa Tenament
Villa Tenament is a newly built modern retreat perched on the peaceful hillside of Chaweng Noi, one of Koh Samui’s most desirable yet uncrowded coastal neighbourhoods. Priced from $300 to $600 per night for three bedrooms, that works out to just $100–$200 per bedroom — genuinely competitive for a brand-new villa with a private infinity pool and uninterrupted ocean panoramas. What makes it stand apart is the striking curved-roof architecture inspired by natural forms, giving the property a sculptural quality you rarely find in holiday rentals.
Inside, the 348-square-metre layout revolves around a bright open-plan living area wrapped in floor-to-ceiling windows that frame the sea from almost every angle. The fully equipped kitchen flows into a generous dining space, making self-catering effortless. All three bedrooms are ensuite: the master suite commands panoramic ocean views, the second bedroom is spacious with its own sea outlook, and the third offers a quieter, more private setting. The overall design is clean and contemporary — white walls, natural textures, and plenty of light.
Location-wise, Chaweng Noi sits just south of the main Chaweng strip, offering the best of both worlds — a calm, elevated setting with Crystal Bay (Thongtakian Beach) and Chaweng Noi Beach within a kilometre. The airport is only 15 minutes away, and round-trip transfers are included in your stay. The villa is managed by Sunshine Samui Villas, an award-winning team recognised as Thailand’s Best Villa Rental by LuxLife in 2025 and named IE100 Luxury Villa Rental Company of the Year for 2026.
Our Favourite Features
- Infinity pool with ocean panorama — The elevated hillside position means unobstructed views from the pool deck, perfect for sunset swims without another rooftop in sight.
- Distinctive curved-roof architecture — This is not a generic box villa. The organic roofline gives the property real character and makes for striking holiday photos.
- All three bedrooms ensuite — No sharing bathrooms, which matters when travelling with friends or family. The master suite’s sea-view wake-up is hard to beat.
- Floor-to-ceiling glass living space — The open-plan area feels twice its size thanks to the glass walls, blurring the line between indoor comfort and tropical outdoors.
- Airport transfers included — Round-trip transfers come with your booking, plus a concierge team to arrange tours, restaurants, and anything else you need on the island.
Good To Know
- Hillside location requires transport — The elevated position delivers the views and privacy, but you will want a scooter or taxi for beach runs and dining out. The concierge can arrange transport easily.
- Weekly maid service, not daily — Housekeeping and linen changes happen once a week. If you prefer daily turndown, this is worth noting before you book.
- Chef available but not included — A private chef can be arranged at 1,500 THB per setting plus food cost and 20% surcharge. Great for a special dinner, but budget accordingly if you want it nightly.
- 17% tax and service added to rates — The published nightly rate does not include 7% government tax and 10% service charge. Factor this into your budget when comparing with all-inclusive properties.
- $300 refundable security deposit — Standard practice for Koh Samui villas. Returned after checkout provided there is no damage. Electricity beyond 50 units per day is charged at 7 THB per unit.
