Villa W Collection climbs a green hillside above Ao Sane, a small, rock-framed cove just around the headland from Nai Harn on Phuket’s southern tip. Walls of glass face west over the Andaman Sea to the offshore islands, and the forest falls away beneath the terraces towards the sand. It is a striking modern estate built for scale, with nine bedrooms, three saltwater pools and room for up to eighteen guests, yet the setting feels secluded and wild rather than busy.

Outdoors, the long infinity pool runs along the edge of the main terrace with nothing ahead but sea and sky. A second pool steps down the slope in a series of cascading tiers, and a third sits beside one of the bedroom wings, so there is always a quiet corner to swim. Shaded sala daybeds, a sunny lookout terrace and a poolside barbecue complete the picture. Inside, two sea-facing living rooms offer deep leather sofas, a long timber dining table seats everyone together, and a games room with a billiard table looks straight out over the bay. There is also a media room with a large 4K screen and consoles, a gym with sea views, a sauna, table tennis and board games for rainy afternoons.

Eight of the nine bedrooms have king beds, and almost all of them frame the ocean through floor-to-ceiling glass, several opening onto balconies. Each has its own bathroom and TV, and some bathrooms add a soaking tub with a view. The ninth room, on the ground floor, has a sofa bed for two, which suits older children. A team of eight looks after the estate, including a villa manager, chef, daily housekeeping and night security, and breakfast is included. Nai Harn beach is around seven minutes by car, with Rawai and Promthep Cape close by.
