Villa Yang
Why We Recommend Villa Yang
Villa Yang clings to a green clifftop on the headland just south of Kamala Beach, with the Andaman Sea filling the view from almost every room. Built over three levels and wrapped in tropical planting, it pairs soaring Thai-style roofs with a bold, modern interior of dark polished floors, glass walls and sparkling crystal chandeliers. It is an intimate, grown-up retreat for three couples or a small family, set well away from the bustle of Patong.
Life here revolves around the fifteen-metre saltwater infinity pool, which seems to spill straight into the sea and has a shallow section for younger swimmers. Shaded daybeds and deep loungers line the timber deck, and the sunsets from the pool edge are something special. The living room opens through floor-to-ceiling glass onto the terrace, an eight-seat dining table sits beside a modern kitchen, and there is a second table outdoors among the palms for long, lazy lunches. Tucked into the garden, an open-sided pavilion holds a small gym with views through the trees.
The three bedrooms, each themed in its own colour, have sea-facing balconies, en-suite bathrooms with walk-in showers and comfortable seating for a quiet morning coffee. A villa manager, housekeeping and round-the-clock security look after everything, a private chef can cook lunch and dinner, and a return airport transfer is included. For a bigger group, Villa Yang sits right beside its sister, the five-bedroom Villa Yin, and the two can be booked together.
