Villa Yolos

Villa Yolos is built around one irresistible feature: a fourteen-metre pool that runs like a turquoise ribbon through the middle of the property, shaded by palms and lined with loungers and umbrellas. Set in Bingin, in Uluwatu, it is a warm, contemporary home of weathered timber, textured concrete and wide sliding doors, with Bingin Beach only around 500 metres away for morning surf checks and sunset walks.

Downstairs, the living area is one great open room. Deep L-shaped sofas sit beneath a cascading rattan chandelier, a long timber dining table seats the whole group, and the kitchen is a cook’s dream, with a marble-topped island, oven and plenty of space to prepare a feast. Everything opens onto the pool deck, so the water is always in view, and upstairs a breezy, fan-cooled yoga shala looks out over the treetops with mats ready for a morning flow.

Seven bedrooms make Yolos ideal for large families or several couples travelling together. Each room has twin beds that can be joined into a king, several slide straight onto the pool, and bathrooms are finished with stone vessel basins and rainfall showers. A spa room with two massage beds turns post-surf recovery into a ritual, with daily housekeeping and round-the-clock security taking care of the rest.
