Samujana Villa 19 rises in clean white tiers from the jungle on the Choeng Mon headland, each level stepping back so that its terraces catch the light and the view. The first thing you notice is the colour: a sunken lounge lined with deep red cushions sits right beside the pool, a warm, sociable spot looking out over turquoise water and the green hills of the coast. Inside, minimalist furnishings, a muted palette and big panes of glass keep the house bright and breezy all day.

The saltwater infinity pool stretches along the front of the villa with uninterrupted sea views and has underwater speakers for music while you swim.
